The show we all fell in love with over its six season run may have come to an end this year, but Schitt’s Creek fans have been gifted with one final, and marvellous, present – an incredibly festive rendition of Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas, featuring all of the Roses!
Schitt’s Creek‘s digital producer, Calum Shanlin, shared the magical music video – comprised of a supercut of scenes from the show – to his instagram earlier this month, and it’s bringing us all the joy we could hope for at this time of year.
After losing the series, and having to stay inside for ten months of the year, Lord know’s we needed a fun way to close off 2020.
It’s not only us normal fans that are feeling all the warm and fuzzy feelings from this video, either. According to PopSugar, Shanlin’s remix even got the attention of the Christmas Goddess, Mariah, herself. “I love it I love it I love it I love it I love it!!!” she commented. “Did I mention I love it? LOL”.
Die hard fans will know that this isn’t the first time Mariah Carey has expressed her fondness for the show and its cast and characters. Remember when she crashed their virtual 2020 commencement ceremony? Not to mention, dedicated fans will also remember that characters David and Patrick share a love for Carey and her music in the series too!
Even though we have to be apart together this festive season, it’s really starting to feel like Christmas, and thanks to this delightfully festive music video, especially so if you’re a Schitt’s Creek fan.
